«Eduardo Lourenço | Uma geopolítica do pensamento» by Margarida Calafate Ribeiro and Roberto Vecchi

Afrontamento | 2023

Synopsis

Eduardo Lourenço's writing, his art of thought, demands a non-primary or stereotypical reading capacity, it claims an adequate epistemology. It does not matter where it comes from, but it has to be rigorous. The paradox (or the difficulty) is that heterodoxy as text, even if undisciplined, imposes a sophisticated reading discipline.

With this small contribution to the construction of an Eduardo Lourenço’s “geopolitics of thought”, we demonstrate that this is the heritage of the essayist: read the work with care, with intelligence, with the understanding of the subtle game of dislocation of the senses, read it and, based on it, think.
