About

This event aims to reflect on a solidarity economy experience, the Association of Solidarity Economy Producers - Contraponto, a school-shop, self-managed, which brings together sixteen enterprises and occupies a fixed space for coexistence and marketing of products of solidarity economy and agroecological family farming on the Central Campus of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS. The aim is to understand the communication processes and solidarity practices of organisation and management of the enterprise, as well as to approach the practice of university outreach.


Bio note

Vera Schmitz holds a degree in Social Communication - Public Relations from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos - Unisinos; specialization in Cooperativism from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos - Unisinos; Master in Communication Sciences from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos - Unisinos and PhD in Education from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos - Unisinos. She is a professor, researcher and outreacher at the Faculty of Librarianship and Communication - FABICO, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. She has experience in the areas of communication, public relations, solidarity economy, cooperativism and education and communication. She is currently on a training certification with the CES-UC.
