The series of presentation sessions of the book Financialisation in the European Periphery: Work and Social Reproduction in Portugal discloses the contributions of the main Portuguese authors who have been studying the financial evolution of the Portuguese economy.

Topic:Financialisation, crisis and perspctives for the Portuguese economy

Ana Cordeiro Santos (CES); José Reis (CES/FEUC); Ricardo Paes Mamede (ISCTE-IUL/Dinâmia-CET) will report on the trends in the evolution of the Portuguese economy since joining the single currency and reflect on the prospects that are opening up (or not) in the context of a persistent peripheral condition.
