About
The aim of this workshop is to present and discuss the results of a PhD thesis on the care practices of African migrant women in Andalusia. The presentation is composed of three parts. First, a contextualisation of the territory and a brief survey of studies on African migration in Andalusia will be carried out. Then, two of the three studies that make up the doctoral thesis will be presented: an analysis of the identity and care narratives of migrant Senegalese women; and an analysis of how they understand and live care work from the perspective of the Andalusian African collective.

The workshop will be presented and moderated by Teresa Cunha, scientific supervisor of the author's doctoral internship and co-supervisor of her doctoral thesis. The presentation will be followed by a discussion with the public. The workshop will be held in Spanish and Portuguese.
