Abstract

This International Seminar will address debates around education, history and the production of knowledge. Bringing together experts from various disciplines (especially of History and Sociology) with work in education and political involvement in the struggles for power/knowledge, the seminar will seek to open the debate beyond the dominant conceptual frameworks, emphasizing the historical struggles of African diasporas in Portugal and Brazil.
