Storyline: A touching portrait of women whose lives were ruled by a moral code. In this documentary film, Khoury deals with the issue of honour killings in Palestine through the life stories of four women: one is wrongly accused of dishonouring the family and is murdered; the second one, in a late stage of pregnancy, dies after being forced by her brothers to ingest venom; the third one survives multiple stabbings inflicted by her brother; the fourth one is a young hip-hop singer who dares to talk about the honour killings and, for that reason, faces several death threats.
Films with English subtitles.
