The article assesses the impact of the measures used on the African continent to seek to halt the crisis caused by COVID-19, while reflecting on the impact of this pandemic, in parallel with other infectious diseases endemic to the continent, and Lassa fever and the outbreaks of Ebola in Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
