The Political Economy Day marks the start of the 2021/2022 academic year of the Political Economy Interdisciplinary Ph.D., which in its 2nd edition will take place at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra. It will feature a Roundtable on Research in Political Economy Today and an inaugural lecture by José Maria Castro Caldas entitled What is there beyond waged work?

Bio note

José Maria Castro Caldas is an economist, PhD in Economics by ISCTE, Master in Mathematics Applied to Economics and Management by ISEG where he graduated in Economics. He was assistant professor at the Department of Economics of ISCTE-IUL and researcher at the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra and at CoLABOR.
