Following up on the Lecture-deabte Series series "Political economists - hopeful dialogues in sombre times", the Thematic Section of Philosophy and History of Political Economy and the Centre Regional Division of the Portuguese Association of Political Economy, with the support of CES, will promote a new series of five monthly debates, throughout 2022, under the general theme of "Great Controversies in Political Economy".

In each session, two colleagues will lead a 90-minute dialogue on a controversial theme of great relevance in the history of Political Economy.
