About
A investigação e a escrita: Publicar Sem Perecer is a collection in Portuguese, in printed format, with the seal of the University of Coimbra Press, and with  open access online. It aims to reflect on the Series Publishing Without Perishing: Surviving the Stampede, a five-year experience of extracurricular advanced training in information literacy, scientific writing and publishing. The book discusses the role of science in a context that, increasingly, seems to want to reproduce neoliberal mercantilism in the academy. In it we read the collaboration of national and international authors who consider the diversity of theoretical and empirical fields on the subject. The work intends to contribute to identify and question the resulting problems, pointing out some solutions to the growing unease in the academic world.
