DIJUS Seminars

Interdisciplinary Dialogues on law and justice (6th series)

2021 | 2022

About

DIJUS  is a seminar programme on the relations of (in)comprehension between the legal discourse and the discourse(s) of other sciences. The aim is to analyse, through these dialogues, the convergences and divergencies of knowledges, discourses and the manner these are translated and used in the concealment/disguise of facts and in the construction of a narrative validated and acknowledged by the law and the judicial system.

This Seminar Programme, initiated in 2009 (1st series), has already contributed to several research projects, including the preparation of several doctoral theses. It is now entering another phase of seminars, with the participation of professionals and researchers from various fields of knowledges and disciplines related to law and the administration of justice, from, among others, medicine to management sciences, and from psychiatry and psychology to social work.
