WG1.3 NbS Case study sites – Face-to-face Workshop,

This workshop and study visit to Porto will kick off the preparation of the WG 1.3 scientific paper and provide an opportunity to explore NbS case studies developed under two European projects, URBiNAT (2018-2024) and TRANSLighthouses (2022-2026), both coordinated by the Centre for Social Studies, of the University of Coimbra, Portugal.

The seminar in Porto will promote participatory activities to reflect on the health benefits of NbS with Lily partners and representatives of Porto partners and the local associations.


Programme 

09:30 — Participatory activity with stakeholders on mosquitoes and health (TODOS House)
12.30 — Collective lunch (€10–15 per person, to be confirmed)
14:30 — Visit to the URBiNAT Healthy Corridor Urban Park
16:00 — Departure to Lapa Urban Park — minibus provided by Porto City Council
16:30 — Visit to Lapa Urban Park
17:30 — End of the visit
