To track trends in urban tourism in Coimbra’s historical centre; To produce tourist-related data tending to lend support to and frame Coimbra University’s application for world heritage status; To understand the economic impact of tourism on Coimbra Heights; To provide suggestions and concrete measures for organising and planning tourism, as also for an integrated management system of tourism resources.
