Gender Equality and the Exercise of Citizenship
CES is consultant of ANIMAR - Portuguese Association for Local Development, which promotes the project Gender Equality and the Exercise of Citizenship. Some of the project’s general goals are: the promotion of organizational empowerment and the reinforcement of an organizational culture that includes the gender dimension in intervention and communication practices, as well as at the level of human resources internal management; the execution of a diagnosis about Human Resources characterization, time management and conciliation problems within Animar network’s organizations; the dissemination of training/awareness raising methodologies and techniques on Gender Equality that show an innovative and participative nature, considering the original characteristics and competences of different kinds of target (youth, women, etc.) within Animar network’s organizations. CES participates, namely, in the planning and scientific design of the organizational diagnosis and regional awareness raising campaign, in the preparation, design and organization of workshops, in the elaboration of a diagnosis study and strategic document with recommendations to the organizations and in the project’s final seminar.
