Maria Clara Murteira (FEUC) - Maria Clara Murteira holds a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (FEUC), where she also completed a Master's Degree in European Economics and a PhD in Economics. At FEUC she has taught courses in the areas of Public Economics, Economics of Growth and Development and Social Security. Her research focuses on the fields of economic and social policies, social security and pensions. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the European Network for Research on Supplementary Pensions. She is the author of several book chapters and articles, on the areas of research mentioned, and of the book Economia das Pensões [Economics of Pensions] (2011).
Gonçalo Marcelo (CECH-UC) - Gonçalo Marcelo (CECH-UC) - Gonçalo Marcelo holds a PhD in moral and political philosophy from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at the New University of Lisbon, having done research in Louvain, Paris and New York. He is currently a FCT post-doctoral fellow at the Centre for Classical and Humanistic Studies (Univ. of Coimbra), in partnership with the Philosophy Department of Columbia University (New York) and a visiting professor at the Católica Porto Business School. His main research interests focus on hermeneutics, ethics, political and social philosophy and critical theory, and he is also a translator of philosophy.
