Post-Colonialisms and Global Citizenship

These writings carry the concrete hope for being part of a qualitative development of a critical utopia, based on everyday lives of children, young people, mothers, men and women, people of the everyday life from City of Angel. This is the city of São Miguel Arcanjo, one of the most cruel context in the state of São Paulo. The thesis aims the construction of cognitive justice, the foundation of human and social justice, from a methodological and pedagogical approach, an ethical critics of reality and the strengthening of alternative resistances against corrupted powers. These resistances have been emerging and offering possibilities of life, against a reality that denies, oppresses, punishes, mistreats and, after all, kills and has been killing. This studying endeavors to go deep on these moments of utopia, learning, relearning and developing with the agents of this social action in course, which I am part of. From this path we are walking on, it opens possibilities of solidarity with other peoples in other centers of the world, who are also walking on their counter-hegemonic paths, in a way we can strength each other fights. Therefore, this thesis, founded on an ethics and politics of life (Dussel, 1998, 2007a, 2007b, 2009), proposes to be an experiment of the Epistemologies of the South (Santos, 1995, 2006, 2009, 2017): an appeal for the decentralization of knowledge production, in order to emerge new possibilities of life, from the local places hidden by abyssal lines (Santos, 2007), which impose divisions between who can and can not live. Those divisions, reproduced, among other places, in the minds and bodies of City of Angel, on the borders of Lagoa do Guapé, are been confronted by the people of everyday life, who trace their own path to respond the exigencies of justice, building new emergencies, observing, announcing, walking and permitting the life to be lived.
