December 2012 - Can Europe learn from the experience of the world? This cycle aims at stimulating the debate on different ways of addressing the most concerning topics for Portuguese citizens, in this period of financial and economic "austerity". Extending the themes under debate to themes not exclusive to the financial and economic analyses, an attempt to avoid the establishment of an intellectual "austerity" will be made by questioning the simplifying assumptions and the complexity of the debate on the solutions that are taken as reflective instruments.
