Biography

With a significant interest in the field of education from an early age, Patrícia Santos completed her degree in Basic Education at Coimbra Education School in 2021 and is currently a Master's student in Educational Sciences at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra, where she is developing her internship report on the theme of "Masculinities, Childhood and Education". Believing that education, citizenship, and gender equality are umbilically interconnected concepts, Patrícia Santos has been tracing a professional path that correlates these areas by carrying out her curricular internship (from September 2023 until May 2024) within the Observatory on Masculinities of the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra and the EMiNC Project [Engaging Men in Nurturing Care Initiative], a project focused on Early Childhood Care, Masculinities and Fatherhood. In April 2024, she joined the team as a research fellow on the same project.
