Diana Barros


Biography

Diana Barros is a junior researcher at the Permanent Observatory for Justice (OPJ) of the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (CES), where she participates in several research projects. She has a Law Degree from the University of Coimbra Law School and a Master's Degree in Law, specialising in International Law and International Relations, from the University of Lisbon Law School, with a thesis on "The position and future of NATO in the 21st century". She is currently attending the CES/FEUC PhD program in "International Relations - International Politics and Conflict Resolution". Since 2025, she has been an expert in the WJP Rule of Law Index (World Justice Project) for Portugal. Her main research interests focus on areas related to international and European law, international organizations, and human rights.
