Teresa Tavares


Teresa Tavares is assistant professor at the School of Arts and Humanities, University of Coimbra (FLUC), and a researcher at CES. She is currently Assistant Dean at FLUC. She was a member of the board of directors of CES between 2004 and 2006. She was the managing editor of the online publication RCCS Annual Review and assistant editor of the journal Revista Crítica de Ciências Sociais until 2015. She has taught in the areas of American Studies, English Literature and Feminist Studies, and has also been involved in teacher training. Her research interests have focused on immigrant narratives and on 19th and early 20th century feminist movements.
