About

This book is not only addressed to those who are dedicated to economic sociology or solidarity economy. It is an interface between political economy, ecofeminism, labour studies and other economies that, far from being closed or disciplinary categories, are living manifestations of imagination and collective competences of resistance and transformation. It is therefore of interest both to the academic community and to activists, employees of international institutions, teachers and other people who look at the world and want to understand the diversity of economic sociabilities from a critical and interdisciplinary approach, without wasting any experience.

Throughout the introduction and the 17 chapters, starting from a huge diversity of places in the world and drawing on very different theoretical approaches and life practices, the various authors try to account for what has been silenced, destroyed or actively made invisible by capitalism in its close relationship with the other two great systems of oppression: colonialism and heteropatriarchy. On the other hand, they intend to go beyond criticism and present ideas, projects and conceptual maps that go beyond neoliberal capitalism and its socio-epistemological prescriptions.
