About

The struggle against corruption has become Brazil's main concern and the struggle against corruption is the major battle flag of the electoral process that led to Jair Bolsonaro's victory. Centred on the Lava Jato operation, the struggle against corruption in Brazil can be called a media legal operation with the objective of changing the perception of social actors about corruption as a phenomenon. Not only are there strong elements of individualization of behaviour towards particular political groups. We will also discuss the press, especially the mainstream media, who accepted the singularity proposed by the Lava Jato operation. This will be the theme of the table in which will also be presented two books recently produced around the theme of the Lava Jato operation. They are: Justiça no Brasil: as margens da democracia and Operação Lava Jato e a Democracia Brasileira.
