Overview
Taking the European Union as context, the debate on the centrality and value attributed to labour in the current economic and socio-political context is called for. The aim is to discuss the various challenges facing the world of labour today, both in relation to the regulation of labour relations and growing precariousness, as well as the weak representation and weakening of the unions' role or the impact of new technologies in the world of labour.
Speakers: Klaus Doerre (Friedrich Schiller University, Jena), Richard Hyman (LSE - London School of Economics), Florian Butollo ( Friedrich Schiller Universty, Jena) and Rebecca Gumbrell-McCormick (Birkbeck University of London).
