Ahibuleni
“Ahibuleni” means “let’s talk” in Xichangana (the second most spoken language in Mozambique, mainly in the southern region). This moment will cover a roundtable that symbolically recreates the “dismemberment” conference (Berlin), where the world powers decided the future of Africa without talking to Africans. We thus propose a space for an interactive and performative conversation guided towards the “rememberment” of Africa. The roundtable will include practical, artistic, theoretical, and analytical approaches, promoting a collective reflection on the role of Africans in building their own future.
Panel: Ilda Vaz, Ivânia Vera Cruz, and Nuna
Facilitator: Apolo de Carvalho
