The context of risk raised by COVID-19 brought about the need for social confinement and spread throughout the world the message #Stay at home, appealing to the home space as an icon of personal security. However, we know that for many people, particularly women, the home is a space of violence, corrupting the imaginary of intimacy. This session of the "Deconfined Talks" debate series will address the possible impacts of the current crisis on violence on intimate relationships, reflecting on emergencies and absences in the responses –academic, social and political - to victims. Fifth session of the "Deconfined Talks" debate series.

The open access «Deconfined Talks» seminars focus on the pandemic, its implications on the multiple dimensions that concern the CES community, among others topics currently worth discussing.
