Abstract
SUGERE aims to implement degrees that combine Geology/Mining + Environment + Social Economy in order to get students and teachers highly motivated to Local Economic Development. This will later improve the European HEIs involved because they will be able to improve their own teaching resources in a South-North effect after the initial North-South attitude. The Portuguese word SUGERE (SUGGEST) highlights the attitude of all Partners involved: Mutual Collaboration not Imposition.
