This is a recording of the TSF-Notícias radio show and podcast, which gives voice to people of different nationalities living in Portugal.

This radio programme consists of an interview lasting around 35 minutes (revealing the guest’s life story, experiences in the country, reasons for choosing Portugal, etc.) and some musical pieces representative of the countries, highlighted in each broadcast.

Bio notes

Beatriz Alemão is the coordinator of the news department at Rádio Universidade de Coimbra and a third-year student of the Journalism and Communication degree course. She joined RUC two years ago and has coordinated broadcasts covering the Queima das Fitas festival; she has covered various demonstrations and moderated debates. Her interests in the world of journalism focus on society and culture.

Nelson Santos has been a presenter at TSF - Rádio Notícias for 26 years. He is also the coordinator of the show A Playlist De..., where prominent figures from Portuguese society choose music, and is the creator of the programme A Distância Que Nos Aproxima, where he talks to migrants of all nationalities represented in Portugal. He has a degree in Communication Sciences and began working in journalism in the early 1990s.
