This seminar will present the main critical aspects of the process of territorialisation of equality policies in Portugal, in comparison with other countries.

Vânia Fernandes will present the experience of the CIM Região de Coimbra in developing programmes to promote gender equality on an inter-municipal scale, as well as the European project funded by URBACT that it is developing and whose Local Group is also made up of the CES: FEMACT-Cities Tranforming cities for women.

Vânia Fernandes | Sociologist, working in the Social Development and Modernisation Unit of the Coimbra Region Intermunicipal Community. Work experience at the Planning, Policy and Foresight Competence Centre, PlanApp and at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and Bissaya Barreto Foundation, Expert Reviewer, E-Grants programme.
