Biography

Afonso Sousa is a PhD candidate in International Politics and Conflict Resolution, co-hosted by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (FEUC) and the Center for Social Studies (CES). He holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and a Master's Degree in Sociology, both from the University of Coimbra. His prinicpal research interests are Marxist theory and the issue of internationalism in International Relations. He is also a professional jazz musician, based in Vila Nova de Gaia and working primarily in Porto.
