Katia Cardoso


Biography

Katia Cardoso is researcher at the Centre for Social Studies and member of the Humanities, Migrations and Peace Studies Group. She is a PhD student in the Doctorate Programme "Pós-Colonialismos e Cidadania Global" at the University of Coimbra. Katia obtained her master degree in African Studies by ISCTE, and has a BsC in International Relations by the School of Economics of the University of Coimbra. Her current research interests include: urban violence, youth in Africa, post-colonialisms, deportation and Capeverdean diaspora.
