Biography

PhD student in Human Rights in Contemporary Societies at the University of Coimbra (Portugal), Master in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), and Bachelor of Laws from the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC). Assistant Professor in the Department of Legal Sciences at the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC). She coordinates the "Laikos" extension program: "Confronting religious intolerance and promoting ethnic-racial equality," which was selected to host research and action funded by the Federal Government - Ministry of Racial Equality - in partnership with Fiocruz to combat religious intolerance, titled: "Estratégia Mãe Bernadete." She is a researcher in the "Redireito" group: "Reviewing rights in gender, ethnic/racial, generational, and sustainability dimensions." Additionally, she collaborates with the extension projects "SER-Mulher: Women's Rights Reference Service" and the "Open University for the Third Age" (UNATI/UESC).
