Marie Batista


Biography

Marie is a Ph.D. student in International Politics and Conflict Resolution at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra and a researcher at the Center for Social Studies (CES). She also works as a researcher and translator specializing in digital policies, data governance, and artificial intelligence in Africa. In addition, she is a student evaluator for A3ES and a teacher of French as a foreign language. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Poitiers (France), where she completed a research master's degree in Experimental Psychology and a master's degree in Translation and Cultural Studies. She also holds a master's degree in European Studies from the University of Coimbra. Her research interests focus on European and African regional integration, the foreign policy of the European Union, relations between the European Union and the African Union, and social and cognitive psychology.
