Biography

Brazilian lawyer, Master in Land Economics and has a postgraduate degree in Human Rights. She worked for Brazilian and international NGOs. Provided consultancy to international cooperation agencies from Germany, France and the Amazon region countries. She worked as a consultant and legal advisor to the Federal Government, in programs for sustainable rural development and for the Land Regularization of Protected Areas. She worked as an ad-hoc expert for the Federal Public Ministry in the Amazon region. She was a legal consultant to State Governments in the Legal Amazon on topics such as land regularization, community forest management, associations and cooperatives. She participated in the formulation of laws and Decrees regarding certification programs. , rural leasing, public forest management, support for Community and Family Forest Management. He lives in Portugal and works at the WageIndicator Foundation, based in the Netherlands.
