Biography

Extensive experience in the private sector, dealing - inter alia - with corporate sustainability issues (due diligence, value chain risk assessment). Masters in International and Public Affairs conferred by Columbia University in the city of New York, BA in International Relations (Brazil) and current Ph.D. research project (University of Coimbra) revolving around Business and Human Rights - more specifically how companies in the garment sector provide remediation to adversely impacted people at the initial end of its supply chain. This project is strongly based on the third pillar of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, which is about Access to Remedy.
