Diana Viveiros


Biography

Diana Viveiros is a Phd Student in Human Rights in Contemporary Societies (University of Coimbra/Portugal), and researcher specializing in international security and Human Rights Law. Her research brings a new conceptualization of the Climate-Disaster-Conflict Nexus in recognition of human rights at regional level, aiming to understand how regional organizations respond to disasters in the context of conflicts, She received a Master´s in Strategic Studies of Defense and International Security from the Fluminense Federal University, where she was tutoring undergraduate students in international relations. She graduated in Law, with qualification in International Law, at the State University of Amazonas, and in Administration, at the Federal University of Amazonas. Author of the book "Enjoying Academic Life Productively" (written in Portuguese), and "Legal Protection for Environmental Migrants: Current Challenges and Ways Forward". Main research interests: Human Rights, disasters, conflicts, and regional integration.
