Biography

Daniel Santos Morais is a PhD student in Feminist Studies at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra (FLUC) and at the Center for Social Studies of Coimbra. Currently working on a doctoral thesis on exclusionary trans feminisms and gender authenticity in Portugal. He is a member of the Sexualities Research Group (GPS) of the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (CES-UC). It is in the area of ​​Queer studies, Gender Studies and Women's History that he develops his phd thesis. Volunteer at the LGBTQI+ news site, dezanove.pt. Administrator of the Leituras Queer website. He is a volunteer at Plataforma Já Marchavas - a collective of citizens and groups from Viseu in defence of human, animal and environmental rights.
