Biography

Cristiano Pacheco is an Architect and Urbanist, Specialist in City Management and Urban Planning and Master in Sociology from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). He holds a PhD in Sociology - Cities and Urban Cultures - from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (UC) and in Sociology from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS), on a cotutela basis. Being the Center for Social Studies (CES), of UC, the anchor of this cooperation and the basis for the realization of research projects. He is a research member of the Laboratory of Urban and Cultural Studies (LABEURC) at UFS. Laboratory part of the Brasil Portugal Network of Urban Studies. Pacheco works predominantly with Urban Sociology, studying social dynamics in cities, planning and legislation for the development of urban space.
