This book focuses on two key issues: organizations' sustainability and social responsibility. The papers deal with different subjects, from identifying the phenomenon to some consideration on what can we expect from the future.

The book belongs to the Collection Work and Society from the CES/Almedina Book Series, and will be presented by Paula Guimarães, representing the bank Montepio, and Miguel Ribeirinho, representing the company Delta Cafés. Maria João Santos, Fernando Miguel Seabra, Fátima Jorge and Maria Alice Nunes Costa, the editors of this publication, will be present at the book launch with the signature of the Centre for Social Studies(CES), the Research Centre in Economic and Organizational Sociology (SOCIUS) and Edições Almedina.
