Synopis

The presentation sessions of the book Financialisation in the European Periphery: Work and Social Reproduction in Portugal disseminate the contributions of the main Portuguese authors who have been studying the financial evolution of the Portuguese economy.

Topic: From financialisation to work: what future for Portugal

José Maria Castro Caldas and Manuel Carvalho da Silva (CoLabor/CES), Maria da Paz Campos Lima (Dinâmia-CET/CESIS) and Nuno Teles (Federal University of Bahia) will discuss the manifestations of that semi-peripheral condition in labour relations and ways to overcome them.
