Bio notes

Paul Hersch is a physician with a PhD in social sciences and health, a researcher at the National Institute of Anthropology and History, where he coordinates the programme "Social Actors of Medical Flora in Mexico" and is curator of the Museum of Traditional Medicine and Herbalism. His line of research deals with sociocultural epidemiology, ethnobotany, health promotion, clinical phytotherapy and the social history of therapeutics.

Lilián González Chévez is a professor and researcher at the Centre for Research in Social Sciences and Regional Studies (CICSER) at the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos, Mexico. Member of the National System of Researchers and currently coordinates a research project of the National Council of Science and Technology on the perception of environmental risk in relation to megaprojects.
