With the inauguration of the Póvoa de Varzim Climate Centre as a starting point, the opportunity arose to report on the various projects that hosted the national tour of the documentary “Alter Nativas - Construindo Futuros Possíveis”. The result is the first episode of what is intended to become a documentary series about initiatives that seek to create and implement solutions for the urgent and unavoidable just ecological transition, from the north to the south of Portugal.

This is an inaugural effort to map the faces, practises and stories of the transition in the country, seeking to inspire hope and encouragement by challenging the collective imagination, demonstrating through practice that it is possible to transform the reality around us, with a view to a more resilient, healthy and just world.
