Political Ecology is a transdisciplinary approach to analyzing and acting upionthe planetary ecological crisis from a critique of the inequalities inherent to the capitalist system and the perspective of environmental and climate justice.

The aim of this Reading Group is to discuss theoretical/methodological reference texts that adopt or dialogue with the Political Ecology approach, in order to deepen the analysis of social and environmental connections and find collective constructions in the face of the climate and ecological crisis.

We welcome researchers, students, activists, journalists, and socio-ecological movement members to participate in this collective reflection.

The Reading Group will be hybrid (online and in-person). In-person activities will be held at CES | Alta. The first series of sessions will run from January to June 2024.
