This seminar proposes the concept of “multibiologism” as an alternative to Western multiculturalism and to the multinaturalism that anthropologists such as Eduardo Viveiros de Castro identify in the Amerindian peoples of Amazonia. Multibiologism would be the basis of interspecies societies, which emerge as an alternative to the war of all against all that characterises the Western relationship with other forms of existence. Patrícia Vieira will think cosmopolitanism from an interspecies perspective and will suggest some ways for the human being to establish peaceful relations with other living beings.
