About
The workshop format will allow us to explore aesthetics and pedagogy in two phases. A theoretical part in which the fundamental categories that provide answers to why art, and more specifically theatre, is part of the critical analysis and above all a methodological source in the social sciences committed to the struggle for dignity, will be presented. And a second part, eminently practical, will consist of sharing a process centred on the pedagogy of bodies as a narrative-creative methodology. A methodology that in this case has been the product of an adaptation of arts-based research, collective theatrical creation and that has as a transversal element the epistemologies of the South (Santos, 2019). One of the most relevant features of this process has been the reworking of a transdisciplinary method between social sciences and theatre art. More concisely, in the encounter between the ecology of knowledges, popular education and theatricalities.
