About

The EEA Grants Project "Evaluation of the Impact of Measures Applied to Aggressors" (IMAPA) promotes, on June 29th, between 2:30pm and 5:30pm, the Technical Workshop on the articulation between criminal cases of domestic violence and the regulation of parental responsibilities processes, aimed at judges and prosecutors, police officers, technicians from the General Directorate of Reintegration and Prison Services, lawyers and other legal experts.

This Project, from the EEA Grants Programme Conciliation and Gender Equality, operated by CIG, is developed by the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra, through its Permanent Observatory for Justice, and in partnership with the Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies, the General Attorneys' Office, the Superior Council of the Magistrature, the Public Security Police and the Directorate General for Reintegration and Prison Services, and aims to diagnose the impact of measures applied to aggressors, reflect on the national reality in the light of solutions adopted by other EU countries and produce recommendations for the promotion of public policies for the prevention of domestic violence and gender violence.
