Seminar | Preliminary presentation of the 5th annual report of the Observatory on Crisis and Alternatives
How to reorganize a vulnerable country?
July 10, 2020, 15h00 (GMT +01:00)
Online event
Framework
The book Como reorganizar um país vulnerável? [How to reorganize a vulnerable country] will be published by the end of this year. It is the result of the fifth annual report of the Observatory on Crisis and Alternatives.
In this session, through the interventions of the book’s editor, the moderator and two guest lecturers, an economic historian and a constitutionalist, a pre-introduction to the book will be made and its themes discussed.
Furthermore, the Observatory on Crisis and Alternatives also seeks to participate in the public debate so necessary in these times of enormous perplexity, when it becomes urgent to build alternatives to the unsustainable models that have brought us to this crisis and to establish radically different ways of living collectively.
The pre-introduction of each chapter of the book will be conducted through small three-page texts constructed in an identical way: the identification of a problem and the formulation of an alternative. The texts, ordered by the name of the authors, can be accessed HERE

Introduction: José Reis (Coordinator of the Observatory on Crisis and Alternatives)
