"Mpemba Nyi Mukundu" by the Contemporary Dance Company of Angola

Synopsis 
The Contemporary Dance Company of Angola presents Mpemba Nyi Mukundu, a cultural tale of northeast Angola where masks, sona (sand drawings), the paintings on the walls, music and dances are updated by the use of corporal speeches or extended through the language of graffiti and video. The piece rescues from tradition timeless message, from two opposites in Bantu cultures: white (Mpemba) and red (Mukundu), two clays with very specific applications and and magical ritual meanings.
