Synopsis: In the film the Portuguese filmmaker follows the life of Nijo, a young man who is footballer and actor, and the spirit Mr Nove Nove that he has channeled for several years. Documenting moments of Nijo's life, the spirit Mr Nove Nove and the society in which they are integrated, "Na terra como no Céu [On Earth as in Heaven]" seeks to capture and understand how the underworld lives side by side with the world of the living in Sao Tome and Principe.
