“The potential of sport to promote gender equality”.
Sport has enormous potential as a tool to promote gender equality. However, it can also be a space where unequal relationships and various forms of gender-based violence are perpetuated. In this webinar, we will reflect on the dual role of sport: as an arena rife with challenges, but also as an engine for social transformation.
Based on the experience of Fútbol Más, we will explore how to use sport to promote more egalitarian relationships, foster safe environments and build good practices that favor inclusion and respect. In addition, we will analyze the main challenges that arise in this path and share strategies to address them from a practical and contextualized approach.
This space seeks to inspire professionals, educators and agents of change to harness the power of sport as a platform to move towards a more just and egalitarian society.
