About
We start from the will to share and debate national and international experiences about the possible connections between research in social sciences, humanities and arts and school and educational contexts. The aim is to broaden the scope of research possibilities from partnerships and direct collaborations between researchers from academic contexts and educational contexts, from a citizen science perspective. This workshop allows, therefore, to materialize e a place for dialogue with different actors linked to education and teacher training - researchers, teachers, early childhood educators, school directors, students, families.
With this workshop we want to create a space for listening, sharing and reflection on the different approaches that may allow the promotion of a school more open to the community and reflective in relation to the challenges it faces. Specifically, we intend to work on the topic of the use of participatory and collaborative science methodologies in education, to dialogue with the team of CES/CC.Edu researchers that is facilitating the use of citizen science in the Coimbra Partner School (Jaime Cortesão Secondary School, Coimbra Centro Schools Grouping - AECC) and with the teachers (and tentatively also students) of this school.
Interventions: Rita Campos (CES), Cláudia Pato de Carvalho (CES), director of AECC (to be confirmed), coordinator of the citizenship and development area of AECC (to be confirmed).
